April 15th Tax Filing Deadline Almost Here!
Most household employers must report and pay their 2007 federal employment taxes by April 15, 2008 by completing a Schedule H and filing it with their Form 1040 federal income tax return. Creating a ready-to-file 2007 Schedule H with either edition of NannyPay or with ElderCarePay is easy. Go to the software's "Forms" menu, select "Schedule H" and follow the directions at each step of the forms wizard. If you prefer to manually create a Schedule H or have your accountant prepare it, you can generate a Schedule H report with all the necessary information. To print a report, select "Schedule H" under the software's "Reports" menu and step through the wizard.
Just as a reminder, to create a Schedule H, NannyPay standard users must use NannyPay 2007 (version 2.10.210); NannyPay Staff Edition users must use NannyPay Staff Edition 2008 (version version 1.3.312 or higher); and ElderCarePay users must use ElderCarePay 2008 (version 1.3. 31 or higher). If you are a Staff Edition or ElderCarePay user and you have updated your software and you are not running the appropriate version, please download and install the updaters directly from our web sites by clicking on these links: www.nannypay.com and www.eldercarepay.com.
